Ešpum

Ešpum was governor ( ensi ) of Elam in Akkadian times under King Maništušu . Maništušu was the first Akkadian ruler to attack and conquer Elam and then deploy his own officials on site. Ešpum is probably the first Akkadian governor of Elam. He dedicated a statue to the goddess Narunte .
