The EHC Kreuzlingen-Konstanz is a Swiss ice hockey club from Kreuzlingen in the canton of Thurgau .

history

The EHC Kreuzlingen-Konstanz (EHCKK) was founded on October 26, 1956 as EHC Kreuzlingen to promote ice hockey both at the active level and in the junior area. The first participation in the Swiss ice hockey championship took place in the 1957/58 season. The home games were played on the natural ice rink in Döbele until the Bodensee-Arena was built . The first home game in the completed artificial ice rink in the cities of Kreuzlingen and Konstanz (today Bodensee-Arena) took place on November 5th, 1977. In January 2000, the ice hockey club in the neighboring German city of Konstanz was dissolved and merged with the Kreuzlingen club. This was accompanied by the name change from EHC Kreuzlingen to EHC Kreuzlingen-Konstanz.

Current

The first team of the EHCKK currently plays in the 2nd league / eastern group of the Swiss ice hockey championship. There is a loose cooperation in the youth and active area with the Bodensee Devils and the EHC Frauenfeld.
