The " EMSCHERplayer: Art - Culture - Communication " was founded in 2006 by Karl-Heinz Blomann as an art project. His aim was to accompany and document the renaturation process of the Emscher operated by the Emschergenossenschaft as part of the project conversion of the Emscher system as an acoustic memory .
