The ENNI group of companies consists of the three independent companies ENNI Stadt & Service Niederrhein AöR as the parent company and their subsidiaries ENNI Energie & Umwelt Niederrhein GmbH and ENNI Sport & Bäder Niederrhein GmbH . The three companies act as an energy supplier, energy producer and infrastructure service provider for Moers, the Lower Rhine and many customers in Germany. Although active nationwide in the energy business and in generation projects, the ENNI group of companies is rooted in the Lower Rhine and offers people here, in addition to energy, numerous municipal services and leisure fun in sports, swimming pools and event facilities.

The companies of the ENNI Group

ENNI Stadt & Service Niederrhein AöR

As a wholly owned subsidiary of the city of Moers, ENNI Stadt & Service Niederrhein AöR is a comprehensive, municipal infrastructure service provider for Moers and parts of the Lower Rhine in the areas of drainage, leisure, waste, green spaces, cemeteries and roads including their cleaning and winter service. In addition, the company is the owner of numerous sports and swimming pool facilities, which it operates through its wholly-owned subsidiary ENNI Sport und Bäder Niederrhein GmbH.

The company is coordinating the broadband expansion in the so-called Wir4 region of the cities of Moers, Kamp-Lintfort, Neukirchen-Vluyn and Rheinberg.

ENNI Sport & Bäder Niederrhein GmbH

ENNI Sport & Bäder Niederrhein GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of ENNI Stadt & Service Niederrhein AöR and operates various sports and leisure facilities in Moers, such as pools, an ice rink and several event venues. In the neighboring town of Neukirchen-Vluyn in Moers, the company also takes on the management of the municipal leisure pool.

ENNI Energie & Umwelt Niederrhein GmbH

ENNI Energie & Umwelt Niederrhein GmbH, with its public and private shareholder structure, is active as a municipal utility nationwide in energy sales and energy generation. With dozens of renewable generation projects, the company is one of the drivers of the energy transition, especially in the Lower Rhine region. The company is also one of the major network operators on the Lower Rhine and was able to take the step to become a regional supplier on the Lower Rhine in 2019 with the takeover of the gas networks in the municipalities of Rheinberg and Uedem. This was achieved through the participation of the previous network owner Gelsenwasser AG in ENNI.

Holdings

In the course of the growth strategy of the ENNI group of companies, investments are an important building block which, via the energy subsidiary, concentrate primarily on regenerative and fossil energy generation. In the energy industry in particular, the company uses opportunities to compensate for size disadvantages and to develop markets and business areas that are otherwise difficult or impossible to reach. As the mother of the ENNI Group, ENNI Stadt & Service Niederrhein AöR is the sole shareholder of ENNI Sport & Bäder Niederrhein GmbH and, with 64.76 percent, the main shareholder of the energy subsidiary ENNI Energie & Umwelt Niederrhein GmbH.
