Origin, technology

The eSolex was developed by the Paris-based Cible group. It is based on the historical and popular Vélosolex (1946–1988), whose naming rights are held by the manufacturers. The vehicle design was redesigned by Pininfarina . The most characteristic parts of the Velosolex have been retained, some eye-catching color combinations are new.

The eSolex was presented at the Mondial du deux-roues trade fair in October 2005 and has been on the market in France since December 2006.
