EU Week for Sustainable Energy

The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is a Europe-wide series of events that has been held annually since 2008 and presents specific examples of how to save energy. The EU week is the highlight of the "Sustainable Energy for Europe" campaign, which showcases projects in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energies. The organizer is the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation on behalf of the Energy Directorate-General of the European Commission .

The 2011 EUSEW will take place between April 11th and 15th, 2011 with more than 30,000 participants in 43 countries. 38 events are planned in Germany.

In 2010 the EU week on “Decarbonising European Energy” took place.
