Eahlstan

Eahlstan (also Alfstan ; † 867 ) was Bishop of Sherborne . He was ordained bishop in 824 and took office in the same year. He accompanied Æthelwulf , who acted on behalf of his father Egbert , during his conquest of Kent in 825. He died in 867.
