Earle K. Plyler Prize

The Earle K. Plyler Prize is a physics prize awarded by the American Physical Society since 1977, named after Earle K. Plyler .

The award is given for work in the field of molecular spectroscopy and dynamics. The prize pool has been US $ 10,000 since 2007.

The following winners also received a Nobel Prize : Ahmed Zewail and William Moerner after the Plyler Prize , Gerhard Herzberg and Charles H. Townes before.
