Eb 3/5

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All tender steam locomotives with three drive axles and two running axles are designated as Eb 3/5 after the designation of the Swiss locomotives and railcars if their maximum speed is between 70 and 80 kilometers per hour. Although other wheel arrangements would be possible, only locomotives with the wheel arrangement Prairie (1'C1 ') were built.
