Real-time rate

With real-time price (also Real Time course ) is defined as a market price that of a rate system in real time , d. H. delivered without delay . For example, the officially determined prices of large indices such as the DAX family or the S&P 500 are only published with a delay of 15 minutes. Quotes that are not delivered in real time are called “delayed quotes”.

Obtaining real-time prices is usually subject to a charge. For private use, real-time prices can sometimes be obtained free of charge (if necessary with registration) at some floor exchanges over the Internet, e.g. B. at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange or the Stuttgart Stock Exchange .

Some banks and brokers also offer so-called indicative prices free of charge without delay. They calculate these courses on the basis of their own courses, so they can deviate from the official course.
