Corner queen
The corner checkers ( English : Loosing Checkers, Loosing Drafts) is a variant of the classic checkers game in which the playing field is rotated so that the players each have a corner field in front of them. The players try to reach the respective starting fields of the opponent with their stones, whereby the game partly corresponds to the Halma . There is no defeat in this game.

As in the checkers and halmas game, the corner checker is a board game for two players, but unlike this game, the players sit opposite each other on the game board so that each player has a black corner square in front of them. One player plays the white and the other the black pieces and the two players take turns making a move. In the starting line-up, the 9 pieces on the black fields of the first to third rows on both sides of the game board are set up so that they form a triangle.
The colors are drawn or chosen, the black player begins the game. Both players now alternately each move a stone, whereby the stones may only be moved diagonally forwards and sideways on the black fields. Opposing stones may be skipped if your own game piece can jump over it onto an empty space behind it. If the stone is then again in front of an opponent's stone that it can jump over, the move can be continued. There is no need to jump, so you don't have to jump over a stone. All skipped stones remain on the field.
If a player succeeds in placing all of his own stones on the opponent's starting fields, he wins the game.
