Edmundas Pupinis
Edmundas Pupinis (born August 9, 1964 in Vėlūnai , Ignalina district ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1982 at the Rimšė Middle School and Ignalina Music School , Pupinis graduated from the Mechanization Faculty of Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1987 and became an engineer. In 1997 Pupinis graduated from Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas with a master’s degree in educology .
From 1987 to 1990 Pupinis taught at the Utena Agricultural School and from 1990 to 1995 he was the head of practical training. From 1995 to 1997 he was a professor at the secondary school for agriculture and food industry in Utena. From 1997 to 2001 Pupinis was mayor of Utena. From 2004 to 2008 and from 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Seimas .
Since 1995 Pupinis has been a member of the conservative Tėvynės sąjunga party .
