Edwin Richard Lielienthal

Edwin Richard Lielienthal (born December 8, 1909 in Bremerhaven-Lehe ; † May 20, 1994 in Nordenham ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school, Lielienthal worked as a businessman. He worked his way into new topics independently, attended the adult education center and dealt with economics and business administration. He joined the SPD in 1927. In the years 1941 to 1945 of the Second World War he was a war participant. Since 1945 he has worked continuously as a district council member and city councilor, and since 1956 as mayor in Nordenham. From May 20, 1963 to June 20, 1974 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (5th to 7th electoral term).

He was married and had two children.

Public offices

Lielienthal did volunteer work in sports and culture. He was also a member of the supervisory board of the Gemeinnützige Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Wesermarsch mbH in Brake, a member of the board of directors of the Oldenburgische Landesbrandkasse and chairman of the supervisory board of the Gemeinnützige Nordenhamer Siedlungsgesellschaft mbH in Nordenham.
