Efstathios Boukouras
Efstathios "Stathis" Boukouras ( Greek Ευστάθιος "Στάθης" Μπούκουρας ) is a member of the Greek National Socialist party Golden Dawn and since the Greek general election in May 2012 Member of the Greek Parliament . He was elected for the constituency of Korinthia and was confirmed in office in the early parliamentary elections in June of that year . He was not re-elected in the 2015 elections.
In August 2012, he took part in protests against a home for asylum seekers in Corinth. He blocked a truck that was transporting refugees.
Boukouras was arrested on January 12, 2014; he is accused of "leading a criminal organization". He is also suspected of illegally storing and transporting weapons for his party, organizing raids against immigrants and extorting protection money .
