Egon Schulz

Egon Schulz (* 1934; † October 31, 2004 ) was a German opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

Schulz began his stage career in Chemnitz in 1965 with roles such as Beckmesser, Germont, Boris Godunow, Danton and Falstaff. He had his last appearances in "Fledermaus", in "The Way of the Promise" and in the fairy tale pieces "Cendrillon", "Traumfresserchen" and "Hansel and Gretel".

Schulz was honored with the title of chamber singer .

Egon Schulz died on October 31, 2004 shortly before his 70th birthday after a long and serious illness.
