Marriage Anniversary Medal (Hamburg)

The marriage anniversary medal was donated in 1902 by the Hamburg Senate for long-married couples. There are two versions:

• gold-colored for the golden wedding
• platinum-colored for the diamond wedding

On request, married couples for their golden and diamond weddings (50 or 60 years old) receive a letter of congratulations from the mayor and the anniversary medal. On request, married couples for the Iron (65 years), Mercy (70 years) and Crown Jewel wedding (75 years) receive a letter of congratulations from the First Mayor.
