The badge of honor for 25 years of membership in the FDGB was an award of the Free German Trade Union Confederation of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), which was founded in 1969 and awarded for the first time on June 15, 1970 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the FDGB. The silver-plated and red lacquered needle with a length of 16.5 mm shows the symbol of the FDGB with a small ornament underneath with the silver number 25 on a red background.
