The K + W C-35 was a two-seat multi-purpose aircraft in double-deck design for the Swiss Air Force in the 1930s and 1940s. Its development began in 1936 at the Eidgenössische Konstruktionswerkstätte (K + W) in Thun. The C-35 was designed for reconnaissance and bombing from horizontal and dive flights . A total of 88 copies of this type were in use.

The C-35 in action

Although the C-35 was obsolete at the beginning of World War II , it remained in service until 1945. When the German Air Force touched the Swiss border during the western campaign and even flew missions against the Swiss Air Force, the C-35 fought on the front line against the Heinkel He 111 and Messerschmitt Bf 110 . A C-35 was shot down, killing both crew members.
