The Eifuku is a hydrothermal spring from the group of white smokers . It is located in Tokyo Prefecture .

The summit of the small but very active volcano is 1535 m below the sea surface. It forms the end of a chain of submarine volcanoes in a hydrothermal field called Champagne , which was discovered during an expedition in 2003. Eifuku is one of only two places in the world where natural liquid carbon dioxide emissions have been observed.
