A happy house (original: Chalupáři ) is an eleven-part Czechoslovak television series from 1975. It was also broadcast dubbed in ten episodes from December 1976 on the first program of GDR television . The location was the village of Višňová .

The focus of the family series is on the interpersonal problems in the Czechoslovak village of Třešňová , especially those of the two odd grandfathers Evžen Huml ( Jiří Sovák ) and Bohouš Císař ( Josef Kemr ) and their family members, some of whom live in Prague .
