history

Investigations of the building structure of the church showed that the early Gothic building was probably built around 1300. The first written mention of Višňová took place in 1352 in the papal tithe register of the Bozeň deanery , this also proves the existence of a parish. The amount of the taxes, which for Višňová in the 14th century fluctuated between six (1384 and 1385), nine (1352, 1369) and twelve groschen (1399), gives an indication of the size of the parish. In the same period, Bubovice had to pay up to 32 groschen, Tochovice 21, Paštiky 18, Kamýk and Příbram twelve groschen, while Hbity , Pečice and Chotouň only had to pay six groschen. The village was originally divided between the Bohemian Crown and the diocese of Prague in a Dobři and a Příbram part. When Emperor Ferdinand I in 1569 pledged the Crown Lordship of Dobřisch to Ferdinand Swihowsky von Riesenberg because of mismanagement in exchange for the monastery of St. Prokop bought back, the village was called Višňová. After Příbram was raised to a royal mountain town in 1579 , the Bohemian Chamber released the pledged Příbram share from Višňová, thereby the village was completely subordinate to Dobřisch. In 1611 Emperor Rudolf II pledged the Dobřisch rule to Anna von Fürstenberg , née Lobkowicz . The Višňová parish expired after 1623. On June 14, 1630, the Bohemian Chamber sold the Dobřisch domain with the attached Heiligfeld estate with the exclusion of red deer and wild boar hunting to Bruno von Mansfeld and Heldrungen, the chief hunter of the Kingdom of Bohemia . The next owner from 1644 was Franz Maximilian von Mansfeld . His son Karl Franz Anton von Mansfeld inherited him in 1692 and his son Heinrich from 1717. Until 1714 the village belonged to the Podbrder district, after which it became part of the Berauner district . After Heinrich von Mansfeld's death in 1780, his inheritance fell to his son Joseph Wenzel, who died six weeks later without heirs. The male line died out, and the Dobřisch rule was inherited by Joseph Wenzel's sister Maria Isabella. The name and coat of arms were merged with the family of her husband Franz de Paula Gundaker von Colloredo-Waldsee-Mels to form the Colloredo-Mannsfeld family , who had the church renovated in 1786. The following year, a localist was deployed in Wischnowa . After Maria Isabella's death in 1794, her son Rudolph Joseph II inherited the property. After the death of the childless Rudolf Joseph II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld, the rule fell to his nephew Franz de Paula Gundaccar II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld in 1844 .

In 1846 the village Wischnowa or Wyšnowa consisted of 69 houses with 589 inhabitants. Under the patronage of the authorities were the local church of St. Katharina, the pub and the school. There was also a mill in the village. Wischnowa was the parish for the villages of Skalitz ( Skalice ), Wostrow ( Ostrov ), Drasow , Kurzbach and Aubenitz as well as the layers of Hora, Strupina, Buda, Tok ( V Toku ) and three mills. Until the middle of the 19th century Wischnowa remained subject to the Dobřisch rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Visnova / Wischnowa 1850 a municipality in the judicial district Příbram. The rectory was renewed in 1858. From 1868 Višňova belonged to the Příbram District . The village was called Višňová since the 1870s . In 1932 there were 577 people in Višňová. In the 1970s, a new town center with a culture house and municipal office was built south of the old town center. In 1975 the television series Chalupáři ( A happy house ) was filmed in Višňová . The community has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2013.
