history

The first written mention of the village took place in 1298 in a document of the Prague bishop Gregor von Waldek , in which the Příbram pleban Vojslav granted the right to the episcopal tithe income from Duben , Tisová, Kozičín and other places. Duben belonged to the episcopal rule Příbram at this time. The Goldene Steig from Prague to Příbram led through the fenced-in and gated village . In 1379 Duben was listed as a village subject to Příbram Castle. From 1390 the place was called Dubna and from 1555 Dubno . Later Dubno became subject to the Dobříš rule.

On June 14, 1630, the Bohemian Chamber sold the Dobřisch estate with the attached Heiligfeld estate with the exclusion of red and wild boar hunting to the colonel hunter of the Kingdom of Bohemia, Bruno von Mansfeld and Heldrungen . The next owner was Franz Maximilian von Mansfeld . Until 1714 the village belonged to the Podbrder district, after which it became part of the Berauner district . After the male line had died out in 1780 with the death of Joseph Wenzel von Mansfeld , his sister Maria Isabella inherited the Dobřisch rule. The name and coat of arms were merged with the family of her husband Franz de Paula Gundaker von Colloredo-Waldsee-Mels to the Colloredo-Mannsfeld family . After Maria Isabella's death in 1794, her son Rudolph Joseph II inherited the property. After the death of the childless Rudolf Joseph II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld, the rule fell to his nephew Franz de Paula Gundaccar II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld in 1844 .

In 1846 Dubno or Dubna consisted of 61 houses with 453 inhabitants. There was a school in the village. The New Inn ( Nová Hospoda ) was on the side, the parish was Přibram . Until the middle of the 19th century Dubno remained subordinate to the Dobřisch rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dubno formed a community in the judicial district of Příbram from 1850 with the one-shift Nová Hospoda. In 1856 Dubno got its own school. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Příbram District . In 1869, 485 people lived in Dubno, the majority of whom were miners. In the following years, a new settlement was built around the Nová Hospoda inn, which was elevated to a district. In 1890 635 people lived in the 76 houses of Nová Hospoda, in the district there was a three-class school and a brick factory. In 1900 the community had 766 inhabitants. In 1932 there were 620 people in Dubno municipality. Of the 113 house numbers in 1938, 69 were in Dubno and 44 in Nová Hospoda. In 1946 a kindergarten was set up. In 1947 it was decided to move from Nová Hospoda to Příbram. 1950 lived in the community 505 people. In 1953 the school was closed. After the separation from Nová Hospoda, the number of inhabitants fell to 164 in 1961, and in 1970 Dubno had 239 inhabitants. At the beginning of 1975 Dubno was incorporated into Příbram.
