history

In the 1630s, the owner of the Hluboš manor, Magdalena Bechinie von Olbramovice, began to rebuild the manor , which had been devastated and deserted by the Thirty Years War. In 1636 she bequeathed half of it to her third husband Jan Humprecht von Račín and their children. He brought German smelters and hammer people into the country to operate the ironworks that had been standing at Pičínský Mlýn, as well as the iron hammers on Litavka. The forest above the hut was felled and the new settlement Teutsch-Pasek was established around 1636 . The Dominikal-Pasek settlement was created in the same way downstream . The new settlers remained free people who only did their work for a fee; only their children, born in the domain of rulership, became subjects subject to robots. The Lords of Račín had a German school set up in Dominikal-Pasek for the children of the German settlers. In the course of time, the German settlers were assimilated, and there are still a large number of family names of German origin such as Saxl, Lenc, Simmer, Vimr and Steiner in the municipality of Hluboš.

In 1705 Messrs. Bechinie von Lazan became the owners of the Hlubosch estate . Teutsch-Pasek belonged to the Podbrder district until 1714 , after which the rulership became part of the Berauner district . In 1741 Johann Anton Hochberg von Hennersdorf took over the Hlubosch and Pitschin estates , with Hlubosch being the property of his wife Marie Bechinie von Lazan. In the 1770s, the Counts Hochberg von Hennersdorf Hlubosch and Pitschin merged into one rule Hlubosch. They had the palace redesigned in baroque style, as well as the park and a large greenhouse. With imperial approval, Anton Hochberg von Hennersdorf had the completely indebted rule played in a lottery on November 30, 1816 . The big ticket was drawn by a Viennese court saddler who immediately sold the rule to Otto Victor I von Schönburg-Waldenburg . In 1826 Prince Otto Victor sold the rule to his sister-in-law Louise Princess zu Schönburg-Hartenstein , née von Schwarzenberg , the wife of his brother Eduard. In 1835 Princess Louise sold the Hlubosch rule for 220,000 guilders to the former governor of the Prussian Principality of Neuchâtel , Ludwig von Pourtalès .

In 1846 Teutsch-Pasek consisted of 30 houses with 211 inhabitants. There was a three-speed mill with an oil press and an inn in the village. Aside from that, the Žirovy ( Žirovy ) single-layer, consisting of five houses, with an authoritarian farm and sheep farm. The stately blast furnace near Bradkowitz was out of order. The parish was Pitschin. Teutsch-Pasek remained subordinate to the rule until the middle of the 19th century .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Německé Paseky / German-Passek 1850 a district of the municipality Hluboš in the judicial district Příbram. From 1868 Německé Paseky belonged to the Příbram district . After the ironworks and hammer mills were closed, the majority of the residents found new jobs in the Birkenberger pits. In 1872 the von Pourtalès family sold the Hluboš manor to Prince Karl zu Oettingen-Wallerstein . In 1892 Německé Paseky was repared from Pičín to Hluboš. In 1921 there were 36 school-age children in Německé Paseky, they were educated in Hluboš. In 1941, money was collected in Německé Paseky for connection to the electricity network, but the plans were not implemented because of the war. In 1946 Německé Paseky was renamed Kardavec . In 1960 Kardavec was finally electrified. In 1991 Kardavec had 75 inhabitants; at the 2001 census, 72 people lived in the 30 houses. Kardavec today consists of 49 addresses.
