The trolley buses (trolley buses) of the type chollima-091 ( Korean 천리마 -091 ) are in since 2010. Pyongyang ( North Korea built).

Since 1999 the trolleybus operation in Pyongyang has been supplied with articulated trolleybuses of the Ch'ŏllima Sonyon type . In the second half of the 2000s, several prototypes of various types were created for a modernized successor. In 2009, the development of the Ch' -llima-091 (like most of its predecessors, the name is derived from the mythological being Ch'ŏllima ) began and the first prototypes were completed in 2010. They were used in Pyongyang from 2011.

Like its predecessors, the Ch'ŏllima-091 is a high-floor articulated trolleybus; What is new and characteristic is the omission of the door behind the hinge to increase the capacity, so the Ch'ŏllima-091 only has three doors. The delivery took place in different color variants.

150 Ch'ŏllima-091 had been built by 2014, and another 50 should be added in 2015. There is no continuous sequence of numbers, as the numbers of older trolleybuses that have been decommissioned were often used again. Contrary to other practice in Pyongyang, quite a few Ch'ŏllima-091 initially had no vehicle number. The Ch'ŏllima-091 has become the dominant trolleybus type in Pyongyang. With the progress of delivery are in particular from 1986 to 1990 built articulated chollima-862 , but also from Czechoslovak diesel buses of the type Karosa B732 converted biaxial Chongyonjunwi retired.

Another Ch'ŏllima-091 without a number came brand new to the exhibition of the three revolutions in Pyongyang and is exhibited there alongside other North Korean industrial goods.

Use of trolleybuses of the type Ch'llima-091 in other cities has not yet become known.
