history

Archaeological finds prove an early settlement of the community area. East of the one-layer Na Dvorských, a Nečín treasure consisting of 24 whole and four half bronze needles from the Knovíz culture was found in 1929 at the Pudilov quarry. The treasure in the Prague National Museum inspired Eduard Štorch to write his novel "Bronzový poklad" ( The Bronze Treasure ). Furthermore, a farmer found remains of urns and bronze tools on his property. Roman coins and other objects have been found near Bělohrad.

The Seltschaner Steig, an old trade route branching off from the Golden Steig and guarded by the Warta ( Strážný vrch ) near Skalice, led through the wooded area . A castle is also said to have stood on the Bělohrad hill north of the Bělohrad settlement.

Nečín was founded in the mid-16th century and is according to the data in the local chronicle in 1569 for the first time under the rule of the goods Dobřisch have been performed. The first documentary mention of the new village Neczinie comes from the year 1580. According to tradition, there was a festival in the vicinity of the place that went out at some point; In 1825 remains of foundation walls and a stone with a deer coat were found during excavation work on a meadow behind the village. In 1610 the village was called Necžinie . On June 14, 1630, the Bohemian Chamber sold the Dobřisch estate with the attached Heiligfeld estate with the exclusion of red and wild boar hunting to the colonel hunter of the Kingdom of Bohemia, Bruno von Mansfeld and Heldrungen . The next owner from 1644 was Franz Maximilian von Mansfeld . Until 1714 the village belonged to the Podbrder district, after which it became part of the Berauner district . In the 18th century began north of Nečín and Besídka at the Nečínská in numerous quarries extracting granite . The blue-gray or gray-white Nečín granite was used in polished form as building material and for everyday objects.

After the male line had died out in 1780 with the death of Joseph Wenzel von Mansfeld , his sister Maria Isabella inherited the Dobřisch rule. The name and coat of arms were merged with the family of her husband Franz de Paula Gundaker von Colloredo-Waldsee-Mels to the Colloredo-Mannsfeld family . After Maria Isabella's death in 1794, her son Rudolph Joseph II inherited the property. After the death of the childless Rudolf Joseph II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld, the rule fell to his nephew Franz de Paula Gundaccar II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld in 1844 .

In 1846 the village of Netschin or Nečjn consisted of 56 houses with 442 inhabitants. In the village there was an authoritarian farm and an authoritarian sheep farm. The parish was Werměřitz . Until the middle of the 19th century Nechin remained subject to the Dobřisch rule.

From 1868 the village belonged to the Příbram district . In the following year Obory and Vápenice broke away from Nečině and formed the municipality Obory. Since the 1880s, the village was called Něčín . In 1893 a school started teaching in Něčín , previously the children were taught in Hřiměždice and Obory. The Kurzbach district was divided at the end of the 19th century; the settlement Kurzbach was umgemeindet as Kurzbach 1st díl / Kurzbach 1st part after Dušníky , at Něčín the single layer Strupina remained, which was then named Kurzbach 2nd díl / Kurzbach 2nd part . In 1924 the municipality name was changed to Nečín . In 1932, 981 people lived in Nečín (with Jablonce, Kurzbach 2. díl, Lipiny, Valečník and Žebrák) and there were six quarries in the village. After the end of the Second World War, the district Kurzbach 2. díl received the new name Strupina in 1945, at the same time the Kurzbach 1. díl , which belonged to Skalice at the time, was renamed Bělohrad. From 1949 Nečín belonged to the newly formed Okres Dobříš, after its abolition the community was again part of the Okres Příbram in 1960. In 1976 Skalice (with Bělohrad) was incorporated.
