history

The first written mention of the place took place in 1057 when the collegiate monastery of St. Stephen in Litoměřice was founded , when Duke Spytihněv II also left a subject named Včelník in Drasovici to the monastery . The next written mention of Drasovice was only at the beginning of the 16th century as the property of the Pešík von Komárov. After that, Messrs. Bechinie von Lazan auf Pičín acquired the Drasovice estate and combined it with their Langen-Lhota estate . After Humprecht von Lazan's death, his sons Johann Wenzel and Ignaz Ludwig ceded the over-indebted Langen-Lhota estate to the Benedictines of St. Niklas Monastery in Prague's old town in lieu of payment. In 1773 the monastery sold the property to Rosalia Baroness von Stenz, née von Peche. The subsequent owner of the Langen-Lhota estate was Heinrich August von Leibnitz from 1828. He sold the property in 1838 to Franz de Paula Gundaccar II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld . After the death of his childless uncle Rudolf Joseph II von Colloredo-Mannsfeld in 1844, he inherited the Dobřisch rule and connected the Langen-Lhota estate with it.

In 1846 the village Drasow , also called Drazow or Dražow , consisted of 34 houses with 237 inhabitants, including one Protestant and one Jewish family. The main source of income was agriculture. There were two mills in the village, one with a board saw. The parish was Wischnowa . Until the middle of the 19th century Drasow remained subordinate to the Langen-Lhota estate.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Drazov / Drasow 1850 a district of the municipality Dlouhá Lhota in the judicial district Dobříš. From 1868 Drazov belonged to the Příbram district . In the 1880s the village was called Dražov , since the end of the 19th century it has been called Drásov . In the 1890s, Drásov and Cihelna broke away from Dlouhá Lhota and formed the Drásov community. In 1932 Drásov (with Cihelna) had 300 inhabitants. From 1949 Drásov belonged to the newly formed Okres Dobříš, after its abolition, the municipality was again part of the Okres Příbram in 1960. In 1961 Skalka was reassigned from Suchodol to Drásov. Since 2006 the community has had a coat of arms and a banner.
