Integration contract (labor and social law)

The integration contract was in accordance with § 231 Third Book of the Social Code , a contract of employment , taking into account and adapt the vocational knowledge of the worker to a specific work environment with the goal of integration or reintegration of the person concerned in the occupation easier. The contractual partners can declare the integration to have failed without giving reasons and thereby terminate the integration contract. The relevant regulations have been repealed without replacement by the law on the realignment of labor market policy instruments of December 21, 2008 ( Federal Law Gazette 2008 I p. 2917, 2924 ) with effect from January 1, 2009.
