The deployment scaffolding system (EGS) is a set of scaffolding components that is used by various units of the technical relief organization to provide technical assistance .

Application and function

A wide variety of constructions can be built from the individual parts of the EGS, e.g. B. Support structures for parts of buildings at risk of collapse or rollable work and rescue platforms. When selecting the components, the decisive criteria were low weight, versatility and ease of assembly.

The system is based on a system known as "all-round scaffolding" or "modular scaffolding" with a wedge head , perforated disc and tilt pins for form-fitting and force-locking connection of elements.

The delta boom is a triangular boom that is used by rescue organizations to e.g. B. abseil out of a window. It is built from parts of the deployable scaffolding system and, thanks to its construction, is supported independently in window or door openings.
