Country of operation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Countries of assignment are countries to which other countries, e.g. B. certain personnel is posted.

These can be civilian specialists who carry out or support the construction or reconstruction of infrastructure or institutions , but also military personnel. Germany’s commitment abroad is broad in this regard. Development aid is provided as well as a contribution to the internal and external security of a country of deployment. The Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF) offers an overview of German civil and military missions abroad. For its part, the Bundeswehr provides an overview of its personnel abroad. The numbers differ in part because there are different update intervals and different payment methods.
