The Eisenhuth Reservoir is a small reservoir in Schuylkill County , the State of Pennsylvania . It is used for the water supply.
The barrier structure on Eisenhuth Run , an almost 14 meter high earth dam, was built by the Pottsville Water Company in 1874/75 . The reservoir itself has an area of around 28 hectares and a storage capacity of 1.3 million cubic meters.
The Eisenhuth Reservoir belongs to the catchment area of the Schuylkill River via Eisenhuth Run and Mill Creek .
