The official journal of the European Association for Sociology of Sport (eass) was launched to promote dialogue between European sport sociologists.

Content

Both theoretical aspects and empirical investigations are presented in the contributions in order to present theoretical discourses on the one hand and methodological discussions on the other. The ejss is intended to prepare and convey scientific knowledge and thus combine the articles in the journal with fundamental sociological, historical, socio-psychological, political and economic aspects. In addition, each issue typically includes research reports, conference reports, reviews, and conference announcements.
