El tonno

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

El Tonno is a flash cartoon series that was developed by Stefan Horn and produced by Brainpool exclusively for the TV program elton.tv on ProSieben . El Tonno is a play on words from the name of the moderator Elton and the term Tonno (Italian for tuna) - as an allusion to the fish El Tonno.

The first episode was broadcast on March 14, 2002, the 33rd and last episode on March 27, 2003. This made El Tonno one of the first flash cartoon series on German television alongside the DIA Show .

Each episode shows the life of the fish boss and little ones in their aquarium in a humorous, ironic and also sarcastic, but sometimes also instructive way. So the little one always has to submit to the boss and is ordered around. The fish display human behaviors and pursue hobbies such as playing soccer, vacuuming, or even going on vacation.
