Electrohydraulics

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under electrohydraulics is the connection of electrical components with components of the hydraulic . The working medium oil or water is controlled by electrical signals via appropriate components, e.g. B. with electrically controlled hydraulic valves .

In contrast to purely hydraulic controls, electrohydraulic drives allow much more complex functions, especially by using electronic circuits such as B. programmable logic controllers . They are also easier to integrate into electrically controlled systems. The advantage of hydraulics over purely electric drives lies in the simple and inexpensive actuators and the ability to generate high forces.
