Electronic billing with file transfer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The electronic billing with file transfer ( EAF ), also electronic billing Frankfurt , with the introduction of the euro also Electronic Access Frankfurt , was the net clearing system of the Deutsche Bundesbank . Operations started on March 23, 1990. It was used for the paperless exchange of interbank transfers. Despite the low liquidity requirements of a net clearing system, the low risk is comparable to that of a gross clearing system.

EAF was replaced by RTGSplus in 2001 .
