Elvie Thomas

Elvie Thomas was an American blues singer and guitarist, very little is known about her life. Supposedly she came from Palmer's Crossing in Mississippi .

In March 1930, she recorded two pieces in Grafton , Wisconsin , Motherless Child Blues and Over to My House . Here played Geeshie Wiley the second guitar. Then, conversely, Thomas accompanied her colleague Wiley on two recordings, Last Kind Word Blues and Skinny Leg Blues . Also in the following year Thomas Wiley accompanied two recordings, Pick Poor Robin Clean and Eagles on a Half .
