Emelba Siete

The Emelba Siete was a minivan that the Spanish body manufacturer Emelba SA presented at the Barcelona Salón Expoocio in 1985.

Model description

The Emelba Siete built on the platform of the Seat Ritmo ( Fiat Ritmo ), on which the Seat Ibiza 021a and Seat Malaga 023a were later based. Seat wanted to build it in large-scale production at what was then the Zona Franca factory in Barcelona. After the takeover of Seat by the Volkswagen Group, the project was discontinued. Emelba only built six prototypes. The Emelba Siete would have been the only minivan made in Europe in 1986 after the Renault Espace.

Emelba SA had a design studio in which the models were designed. The company was dissolved at the end of 1993. Seat took over the design concept.
