The Emirate of Beihan or Bayhan , officially the Emirate of Beihan ( Arabic إمارة بيحان, DMG Imārat Bayḥān ) was an emirate in Old South Arabia and has been part of the Republic of Yemen since 1967 . The capital was Baihan al-Kisab .

Geographically, Beihan is in a valley bordering al-Baidha in the northwest, Ma'rib in the east, and ʿAtaq in the south. It is a fertile valley that is supplied with water by the northeast mountains. Dates and citrus fruits are grown and livestock is raised.

The ruling Al-Habieli family was related to the Hashimites and was recognized by them as the rightful ruling family. The emirate was incorporated into the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen in 1967 and is now part of the Republic of Yemen.
