Emlyn Hughes International Soccer (EHIS) is a soccer simulation that was first published in 1988 by Audiogenic Software . The game is named after the English soccer player Emlyn Hughes . The first version of the game appeared on the Commodore 64 , later versions for the Schneider / Amstrad CPC , ZX Spectrum , Atari ST and the Amiga were also created . At the time, it was rated by critics as one of the most realistic football simulations for home computers .
Each version of the game was programmed by Graham Blighe , with graphics by Andrew Calver . The music for the Commodore 64 version came from Barry Leitch .
