Emmetten-Stockhütte

Emmetten-Stockhütte is a hiking and skiing area above Emmetten in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden . The Emmetten-Stockhütte-Seilbahn is a gondola lift that runs from Emmetten (valley station 762  m above sea level ) to the Stockhütte (mountain station 1284  m above sea level ). There is a restaurant at the mountain station.

Emmetten-Stockhütte is part of the Klewenalp-Stockhütte ski area . In winter there are prepared slopes at the mountain station that are connected to Klewenalp . In summer the Emmetten-Stockhütte mountain station is the starting point for hikes, for example to Klewenalp or the Niederbauen mountain inn .
