Enšakušana
Enšakušana was an early dynastic king of Uruk around the 24th century BC. He was the son of Elili of Ur . Based on a vase inscription, it is known that he was able to win a victory against Enbi-Ištar von Kiš and from this he brought back stolen cult inventory to the Enlil temple . Since the reign of Enšakušana, it was also customary to date documents with names of the years : a system that would survive into the ancient Babylonian times.
