Enggano is a language spoken on the island of Enggano off Sumatra . It is one of the Malayo-Polynesian languages within the Austronesian languages . Their position in relation to the other Malayo-Polynesian languages is disputed; it is believed to be one of the Northwest Sumatra languages.
