Engler degree

The Engler degree ( E, ° E, E ° , after Carl Oswald Viktor Engler ) is an outdated unit of measurement for measuring viscosity in engineering .

1 ° E is the speed at which the test liquid flows out of a capillary in relation to the flow speed of water.
