English Premier Ice Hockey Cup

The English Challenge Cup is an English ice hockey cup competition . It is held annually with the teams of the English Premier Ice Hockey League . The cup has been held within the Premier Teams since the English National Ice Hockey League was split into a higher-class Premier Division and Division I (later National Division ) in 1998/99. Therefore, it was initially called the English National Premier (Ice Hockey) Cup , until the English Premier (Ice Hockey) Cup was established with the establishment of the league . It is carried out under the umbrella of the English Ice Hockey Association . It has been held as the English Challenge Cup since the 2014/15 season .
