Bottleneck performance
In the electricity industry, bottleneck output is the maximum continuous electrical output that a power plant can deliver under normal conditions. It is limited by the weakest part of the system, the so-called bottleneck.
The gross bottleneck output is the total output from which the net bottleneck output is available after deducting the internal requirements necessary for operating the power plant .
