Enhanced audio codec

The Enhanced Audio Codec is a proprietary lossy audio codec from Coding Technologies .

Version 2.0 is based on Spectral Band Replication (SBR) technology and supports mono, stereo and 5.1 surround sound . It represents the audio codec that is used on the Chinese alternative to DVD-Video , the Enhanced Versatile Disc .
