Ensemble Phoenix stage play community

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ensemble Phoenix Bühnenspielgemeinschaft e. V. is a Cologne theater that was founded by Bettina Montazem in 2006 under the name Theater the construction site . In June 2016 the theater was renamed and the organization of the various areas was transferred to the 12 members of the association, who also form the core of the ensemble. From 2006 to 2014 the theater played in the almost 90 m² space on Bonner Strasse in the Bayenthal district of Cologne . For the time being, the theater has only been performing touring theaters in the entire German-speaking area since 2014. The theater is now run by the founder Bettina Montazem, the blues singer Richard Bargel and the musical actor Frank Oppermann . The Ensemble Phoenix has moved into its own permanent venue in Cologne-Ehrenfeld since October 2017 and has revived the former venue of the Arkadas Theater / Stage of Cultures under the original name URANIA Theater. It is supposed to build on the success of the former founder Claudia Howard. The current program and offer for the tour includes 11 different productions for all age groups:

  • To the old love
  • All you need is cheese

There are also numerous small musical formats which, under the umbrella term of the COUCH CONCERTS, offer constantly changing artists and programs.
