Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a European network with the aim of supporting cooperation, technology transfer and strategic partnerships for small and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs ).

The partners in the Enterprise Europe Network promote contacts between business and science, particularly in the area of research and development . The EEN helps companies to find potential international business partners, to develop new products and to find access to European markets. Among other things, they advise on intellectual property , patents , standards and European legislation. The declared aim is to help companies become more competitive.

As a communication channel, they pass on company-relevant news from Brussels to the companies and transmit feedback from business to Brussels.

EEN Service Centers for Business and Innovation provide a range of high quality, free services to businesses across the EU and beyond. There are around 600 member organizations across the EU and beyond, 60 of which are in Germany. These include, for example, chambers of industry and commerce, technology centers, technology agencies and universities.
