Enterprise Objects Framework

The Enterprise Objects Framework, or EOF for short, is a framework for object-relational mapping , which NeXT , now Apple, initially developed in Objective-C , later ported to Java and is now sold as part of WebObjects .

Nowadays, there are various open source implementations of EOF in Objective-C: GDL2, the GNUstep Database Library, and an implementation as part of Open Groupware .
