Epitaph for Jonas Greulich
The epitaph for Jonas Greulich is one of 14 epitaphs of the Uffkirche in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt . The outer epitaph is dedicated to the pastor Jonas Greulich (1535–1613) in Cannstatt. From the epitaph of an unknown master only the inscription pedestal has survived, the gable top has been lost.

The wall epitaph is attached to the west wall of the church. It consists of 2 parts, a low lower part and a high upper part. The lower part with a Bible solution from the Gospel of John rests on a two-tier console plate. A multi-part, profiled intermediate plate separates it from the upper part. This is completed by a multi-level architrave. The upper part bears the memorial inscription and a bible solution from the letter to the Romans, framed by a border with a short memorial inscription. The upper part was originally crowned by a curved gable top that has been lost ( → postcard from 1912 ).
