Epitaph for Johann Friedrich Hirschmann in the Uffkirche.

The 14 epitaphs of the Uffkirche are tombs on or in the Uffkirche , which was built in 1494 as a parish church on the Uff churchyard in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt and is now used as a cemetery chapel. The wall epitaphs from the 17th and 18th centuries were built in memory of prominent citizens of Cannstatt, including the mayors Jakob Speidel and Jakob Spittler. 8 epitaphs on the outer walls and 6 on the inner walls of the church have been preserved. The splendid epitaph for Jakob Speidel is one of the most important Renaissance epitaphs in Württemberg.

Outer epitaphs

Overview

Of these, the epitaph for Jakob Speidel and the epitaph for Jakob Spittler are complete and well preserved, the only partially preserved epitaph for Georg Letslin is partially badly damaged.
